Your words are never rewritten
Most transcription tools hand you one transcript and quietly "fix" it. Transcript Forge keeps the word-for-word transcript locked the moment it's made. Every cleaner version is made from it, and checked against it word for word before it's called finished. If anything doesn't add up, you're told. Your words are never quietly dropped.
Transcription happens on Transcript Forge's own server. Your recordings aren't handed to an outside AI company to transcribe.
Questions
What does it cost?
Pricing will be announced when it opens. Join the waiting list and you'll hear first.
Which languages does it understand?
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian, or it can work out the language for you.
Can it tell who's speaking?
Not yet. Labels for who said what are planned. Today you get every word, with the time it was said.
How accurate is it?
Very good on clear speech. Heavy accents, people talking over each other, or loud music behind the voice lower the accuracy, as with any transcription. You can always click a line and hear the original.
Can I record videos I don't own?
The tab recorder is for your own learning and notes. If you plan to publish someone else's words, make sure you have their permission.
Can I delete my recordings?
Yes. Deleted recordings wait in a Trash for 30 days, then they're erased for good, including from the backups.
