Transcript Forge
Verbatim-first transcription. The master transcript is written once and never edited. Everything else is generated from it, and can be traced back to the exact words it came from.
How it works
- Upload a recording.
- Every word is transcribed with a timestamp and a speaker.
- That transcript is frozen - read-only on disk, hashed, and refused by any code that tries to change it.
- A clean readable version is generated from it, with a log of every single thing that was removed and why.
Before a job is called finished, the system reassembles the clean text and the removed text and checks they add back up to the master. If they do not, the job fails rather than quietly losing your words.
